ok so I'm having a new obsession - Thai Green Curry Chicken. I just can't seem to get enough!. Every restaurant is different. I did try it on my own last Saturday night. I made the green curry paste - and it was sooo tasty. Then it gets mixed with coconut milk and chicken and eggplant and other stuff

I have recently finished a recipe development project for a cookbook. The picture of the popovers are from that book. I suppose I could have ironed the napkin. But this photo is my own digital photo - not the one that will be in the book.
So, this is my very first blog. I have been a cook since I was a little girl. I remember mixing up blue pancakes for my family and cooking them on my little easy bake oven that had a very hot griddle thingy on top. In those days, I guess they didn't care if little kids burned themselves on toys. My parents would sleep late on Saturdays, and I would fire up my little stove, take orders on a little paper menu and make breakfast. Loved those blue pancakes.

My mother and my grandmother both were good cooks, had gardens - but I think everybody did
back then. We cooked every night for dinner and sat around the table discussing the food.
